Relieved
I am so relieved. I bought my 06 CTTS with 48,000 miles a couple weeks ago. The coolant pipes had not yet been done. I was forced to drive about 2000 miles in those two weeks and did not have time to do the pipes, as well, I wanted to put in metal coolant Ts, so had to wait for those. I was pretty nervous knowing the pipes could fail at any time. Now it is in my garage with parts in hand. My weekend is planned!

Three Wheelin'
It will be a big relief when finished knowing how much the reliability will have just increased. You did get some flexible clamp pliers for the job right? I purchased one set, one of the jaws broke right at the end of the job and now I have three, and I may never use them again?

WTF, went to drain my coolant and... Where the H is the drain plug? Looks like it may have been forgotten? Have drained my 05 no problem, but looks like no drain plug. How the H to drain this thing. Any Ideas. Tried to remove the lower radiator hose. I can push up the clip, but it does not want to come off.

I was able to loosen the lower rad hose enough to get the coolant to pee out. I just let it drain out for a while while watching a little golf. So in the end all is working out. Got out the plastic tubes so now to work on the coolant Ts. But for crying out loud no drain plug for the radiator? I am going to chastise my German neighbour for the rest of his life every time we have a beer.
