I agree with you that the changes in the 958.2 are very subtle:

front fascia has changed, less agressive in my opion
DRL are more of a LED outline (as oppose to the individual bulbs?)
optional head lights that are full LED
rear tail lights are similar to the new Macan design

As others have said, some find these changes great while others do not. I like the LED headlights, but that is about it for me.

Yes, from everything you mentioned above I would say it is a very subtle change but the GTS still looks nice...I just rather the NA engine of a 2013 or 14 with that strong sport mode sound. The V6 TT one doesn't compare in sound...just my opinion. By the way, your black GTS looks VERY nice and aggressive.
