Default Durametric Professional

Question....

I am going to buy the Durametric and likely the professional version for the primary reason that the value lost in buying a used professional version is near zero.

This begs the question......is there anything in the pipeline that will make the Durametric obsolete in the near future ?

Thanks for any replies.
