Default Q2J - 14-way power seats with memory

Hi,

This option is listed on my handbook label, but I don't see any memory buttons on the seats.

Weird?

Did you get the code from the VIN decoder?

This post ( https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...des-again.html ) says the Q2J is for "Comfort seats."

My North American '06 base shows code PG1 for "Driver seat memory."

If you do have memory seats, the memory buttons aren't on the seats. They're on the door, just in front of the door handle.

Not on a 2006 they're not!

On my '06 the memory buttons are on the side of the driver's seat next to the power seat adjustment switches.

That would be the correct spot!

Oh!, I got them from some other site, perhaps it was wrong!

Check your VIN here:
https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...aa29p86la23528

admin.porschedealer.com/reports/build_sheets/details.php?vin=wp1aa29p86la23528

but replace "vin=***************" with "vin=yourVINhere"

(This is the same link as the one in the sticky.)

I got - "This vehicle is not available."

Guess that decoder only works for North America. Anyone have a solid UK (maybe Europe?) decoder?

Closest I've found is this discussion:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...i=60&mid=&nmt=
where the general consensus seems to be to join a club.

Ah, I didn't see a year listed, and on every Porsche with memory I've had, they've been on the door like that.
