Current 996 owner considering 2010 GTS
Tried searching and found some things useful. I would like anybody's input on the vehicle. It's a 2009 GTS with 45,500 miles. Don't know service records, but I will be purchasing from the dealer. It does have a CPO warranty on it. It has heated seats but no cooling ability....do the alcantara surfaces get hot when you're driving? Seems like they would, more so than standard leather, THANKS!

No problems with the Alcantera seats. AC works great in FL. It's a great car and looks great too, IMO. Only complaint is 1st gear is too low for normal use. It generally starts in 2nd unless starting at WOT. Sticks like crazy with 21"ers. Wish it had the lightning fast shifting of the PDK, but it is probably the best tow vehicle on the road. Overall, it is very enjoyable to drive.

2010 GTS is pretty much identical to a 2009 GTS. Having experience of both in Cayennes, I would say that the alcantara seat inserts generally remain cooler than leather. I have panoramic roof and have no issues with cooling the cars here in the middle east.

The biggest difference in the 2010 GTS is the 2010s seem to be a bit overpriced. They may also may terms to be a tad heavier optioned. Otherwise, it would be hard to find any difference.
