Space junk landed on my cayenne! (sorry, no pics)
Okay, it was actually probably just some road debris kicked up by oncoming traffic but it dinged up my driver's side front fender pretty badly, put a 3" gash in my A-pillar and obliterated my side-view mirror. Fun stuff.
Question though: When you bring your vehicle with pedigree to an auto body shop to be straitened out, is there a trick to being loaned a comparable vehicle? I am displaced from my 450hp, awd, nearly-optioned-out luxury SUV into the world's crappiest example of a base model 2013 Kia Optima, which at 42K miles I suspect is nearing the end of it's useful existence.
I'm going to drive it for the next week or so while the Cayenne is straitened out; I'm certainly not above driving such a vehicle, but is there a secret to obtaining a reasonably nicer loaner from these places?

That's a hilarious question. I've wondered how to get a loaner in the first place. Guess I'm not in the right tax bracket to even get a Kia.
