Default Porsche Cayenne Manual Transmission Models/Years

Does anyone know exactly which years and models did Porsche release a 6 speed Manual Transmission Gearbox for in the US? Reference links would be nice, but your own knowledge is also greatly appreciated! Thank you, very curious.

A strong enough tranny would by to expensive, think of the cost of the clutch

Available on the V6's and on the 08-10 GTS models.

Today is the first I'd heard that it was available on the S models; and I can only wish that they were available on the turbos.

Only available on the S models overseas.
V6 and 957 GTS were the only ones available here in the US.

I am very happy I have one, I wouldn't have purchased my Cayenne if it was an auto.

Yes the 6MT for either the base or the GTS is rare here in the US. Dealers never ordered them as spec cars so they were BTO only. Most SUV drivers don't want a 6MT, so it was rare for a BTO to option it that way. Additionally, at least in later years (don't know about they early V6s), the number of available build slots for a manual was limited which pushed delivery times way out (I was going to order a 6MT V6 and I was going to have to wait a year for the slot (ultimately the diesel came out and that's what I really wanted)) which pushed off those that thought a 6MT would be cool but weren't invested enough to wait.

So yes, pretty rare.

Wish I waited little long enough for GTS manual transmission.....

Don't know why US market was so up tight about having the manual transmission available while other countries had it from get-go...
Saw S model with manual transmission in Italy & Japan.

I was searching specifically for the 6MT and finally pulled the trigger on an 09 GTS manual. During my search as was stated previously only offers were V6 and 957 GTS. I'm super excited to spend some quality time with it.
