Turned wasted space into a cup holder
If your like me, you were a bit frustrated not having a cut holder in the front. Other interior packages may have provided one but for my 05 Turbo it did not. After shadowing my tools into my tool box using the red and black foam I came up with this idea. I may add in another layer of black foam which would lock in the handle but will try this for now.

Nice! The flimsy plastic cupholder insert was the first thing that I yanked out when I purchased the GTS.
All you're missing is an indentation to store your spoon or stirring stick.... ;-)

That is clever.
My '05 has the standard plastic insert and it works just fine. It's a bit crowded with two large DD coffees in there, but other than that: very serviceable. I'm not sure how it could be better...
P.S.: Try a long trip in a 944 and you'll be thankful for any kind of cup holder in the cockpit!

That's the location of the factory cup holder on my CS. It works fine.
