2014 GTS has arrived

I didn't buy them as a fashion accessory. And they don't look as bad in person.
I have the Porsche rubber mats. They work as long as you don't touch the dead pedal and it isn't raining or snowing out.
I ordered a dead pedal cover yesterday. With that I might be able to get away with the rubber mats most of the time.
I just wish Porsche hadn't speced white carpet in the foot wells. I love the light interior other than that.

Tough crowd.
For maximum coverage I don't think there is anything like those mats on the market. If the truck is living in a dirty/muddy environment, serving work duty, toting kids or hunting/fishing/biking buddies around, then I could see a definite place for those mats, despite the less than perfect fitment.
I also find the leather look and stitching of these mats classier than the molded plastic weather techs, which I've always thought looked cheap. I also dislike how the weather techs stop half way up the dead pedal, a deal killer for my big feet.
Thanks for the follow up pics. Beautiful GTS.

Thank you for reality. Exactly! I'm not a suit and tie kind of guy.
With walking around my dirty commercial buildings or in my shop or riding dirtbikes or mountianbikes, working in the yard or going to the farm, as a daily part of my life, standard mats just don't cut it. With the dead pedal cover it could be manageable if I'm careful.
You can always count on a few guys at Rennlist. The only other forum I have witness such outbursts is on a downhill mountian bike forum. But that's usually from silly teenage boys high on testosterone, so you can give them an out. Here it's just pompous.

The weather techs are not to bad on the dead pedal. Size 12 here
In the last 2 weeks I have poured gallons of water out on them with no spills
At one point I pumped the melt out with a small drill pump

Mats are for protection, and those seem to provide great coverage. I think if you were here (in Canada) you may prefer something along the lines of the Weathertech approach, as a considerable amount of snow can melt off the bottom of ones shoes. But in other climates, I think what you have is good.
That is quite a special color, very nice machine!

Can't say I like those one bit. Color is horrible and draws the eyes into the floor of the vehicle.
Light interior looks great, but it gives me anxiety just looking at it.

Red calipers are standard on GTS and Turbo.
*I'll post a few shots with the stock wheels when the chance of snow is over and I get them back on.
