Need help, deciding on a Cayenne, can you help?
Hello,
I am an avid Porsche fanatic. However, due to my size (6'4, 290lbs) getting in/out of a Boxster/Cayman/911 isn't easy. Fitting isn't either. A Cayenne, while not sporty, does make getting in/out easy and fits me well.
I was thinking of a Cayenne. I saw this one. It is within my budget but my guess is that the price could be lower. Should I check it out? Also what's a fair price for this model?
If there were a 911 that were certified pre owned @ around 40K I would not mind being cramped =)

Any advice?

Whew that's pricey.
You could get a 2006 turbo for that.
And have full leather, nav, 20" wheels etc...
There are lots of nice cars out there. Since the 2010 is essentially the same from 2003-2010 I'd find the cleanest one in those years. Well not a 2003 but you get the idea.
I went from a boxster to a cayenne v8 and I thought the gas would kill me but I only drive 10k/year so it really doesn't make a difference. Even 20k wouldn't matter.

You need to go really test drive one and disabuse yourself of that notion. It's no sports car, but it can be every bit as fun to drive once you get over the "a SUV shouldn't be able to do that…" thinking.
As far as that car, 40k for a V6 model seems ludicrous. KBB says $33k is retail price for those miles and the base for the 2014 V6 is 50ish. I'd keep looking.
Given your sporty comment, I would suggest that you look to the S or older TT/GTS. The VR6 is a good engine, but it is a better fit in the lighter 958 (2011+) than the older 955 and 957.

I was going to offer $35,000.
Since it was certified pre-owned, figured I would pay just a little more for the warranty. Besides, I would quality for the 2.49% apr for this vehicle.
Let me see the other ones...

I believe I read in another thread that the CPO is lost if it gets resold through a non-Porsche dealer. Definitely something to confirm for sure before paying a premium for a CPO.
