Is there a valve cover gasket diy? Im planning to do mine very soon on my 2004 cayenne s v8. Thank you

Thank you. For anyone who cares i did it without any instructions . Gaskets were hard as a rock shattered like glass when removed. The crankcase vent tube that runs from one side of the engine to the other was really brittle and snapped upon removal. Other than that just take your time

There is only one valve gasket cover right? I saw the 993 has lower and upper that's why i'm asking.

Jeroen,

There will be one valve cover gasket PER BANK of the engine. So you will need two for a V8.

Yes, do both. If one is leaking, the other isn't far behind.

There is a spark plug gasket that runs up the middle of each cover as well. You may also consider doing the seals for the variocam solenoids

cosmoracing they made the silicone breather hoses for Cayenne-S and turbo in replacing the brittle PVC vent hoses
