Default Picked up my '14 CD yesterday

My 2014 Cayenne Diesel finally arrived, and I took delivery yesterday.
The diesel runs a lot quieter than I remembered from my test drive.
The only gripes so far are the reverse-tilt on the mirror seems to take
forever to return to normal and the I'm not used to the Cruise Control
Stalk being on the left.
Here are some pics of the new ride (and my 1st porsche)

Looks like a nicely optioned specimen. Need to get rid of that speed limiter sticker next to the key

Regarding the slow mirror, yeah it sucks. Yours isn't broken, they're all like that I think the consensus of the last thread I saw on it was that we all end up turning the feature off because it's so damn slow. It's doubly frustrating for me as it's much faster in our 13 year old 996...

Did the one you test drove have significant miles on it? Mine is about to turn over 10k and I've noticed that it's louder than it was when I first got it. Not a lot mind you and still less than any other diesel I've been near, but there has been a bit of a change.

Congrats and welcome to the club.

yep, I'll have to yank off the stickers and turn off the reverse-tilt.
I think I figured out the difference in sound. The CD I test drove
didn't have the Insulated Privacy Glass. Mind you, the test drive
happened a while ago (back in July) amongst several brands, so I
may have just mis-remembered which was which.

Congrats! Looks great.

I had to get used to the shorter signal light arm compared to my touareg. I liked how the steering wheel was smaller too. All those little things that remind you that you have a new car are fun. Soon they simply turn into plain controls and you can really settle in and enjoy the ride.

Congrats!
Love the blue but having trouble determining the interior color. One pic it looks tan and another it looks light gray. (may be my monitor/lighting)

Congratulations!

Great combination ... beautiful ride ;^)

btw, Did you get those all weather mats separate or they throw that in for you?

And, if you don't mind me asking, why did you not get the Entry-and-Drive option?

/a

Great looking PiG! .... I'm due to pickup mine in a week or so, very excited :-)

Does anyone know if the clock now is standard in 2014's? I keep hearing different opinions, really hoping it is as the dash definitely looks better with the compass or clock on there and wish I had ordered it as an option! (instead of spending another vehicles worth on options!)

The dealer threw in the mats. Also, I do have the Entry and Drive option. Here is the full list of options I ordered:

Premium Plus Pkg.
Bose Audio Pkg.
Dark Blue Metallic Paint / Full Leather Interior / 14Way Seats
Trailer Hitch
Pano Sunroof
Aluminum Roof Rails
Porsche Entry and Drive
Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus
LED Adaptive Brake Lights
Thermally & Insulated Privacy Glass
Air Suspension with PASM
Adaptive Cruise Control
Extended LED Comfort Lighting
Compass Display
Walnut Interior & Walnut Multi-Function heated Steering Wheel
Voice Control & Online Services

The only option I would not bother with if I redid my list would probably be the online services.
