ordered a 8p/16" + 6p/15" kit for my TTS, being installed now.
a friend who tracks & races these brakes regulary on a couple of cars talked me out of getting the brembo kit and try these. will see how they perform. btw, he owns a Q7 V12 TDI that comes standard with ceramic brakes - he changed them to these PBs.

What was it about he Brembos he didn't like and what did he say was better about the PBs?

For posterity and accuracy, I checked again with the parts manager at the dealer and he assures me that the price for the ceramic rotors is $3500 each.

I'm going to pass anyhow and maybe upgrade later to the bigger iron I talked about.

It's no longer pressing since it's not a Porsche option. I can order away.

These opinions without driving similar vehicles with steel brakes and ceramics really are not helpful. I had a F430 with steelies. Great braking ability. Now have a 16M with ceramics. Unbelievable braking.
Had a 2013 Cayenne turbo with iron brakes. Braking ok but plenty brake dust. Factory ordered a 2014 Cayenne turbo S with ceramics. The braking difference and pedal feel is just not to be believed. There is no comparison. And ZERO brake dust with the PCCBs. For anyone dropping over 110K for a base turbo the price of ceramics is marginal, and well worth the expense.

I'm driving a a 09 CTT with 380mm front discs on 295/ 35 21 P Zeros on dry tarmac, I can pretty much get the the ABS to engage at will with a bit of effort which means that the car is on the limit of the tyres and not the brakes. I understand that ceramics may improve fade performance but without putting down more rubber I don't see how there can be much of an improvement in braking.

main reason is pedal feel. with the big 405mm kit, the 6 pot brembo is not as "controllable" as the 8 pot from PB, same goes for the 380mm kits.
apart from that, price is about 1/2, fit & finish is pretty much the same and you can choose many variations (colors, aluminum hats, drilled, grooved etc...).

I had the brembos on order, then drove his Q7 V12 tdi and chose the PBs instead. he's got 305/55 R20 on and the brakes did a GREAT job even after multiple stops from very high speeds (120mph+).
