Help! Coolant
We are in Ely Nevada, towing
a 928 to the Silver State Classic.
We lost our coolant in the Cayenne and had to be towed 70 miles.
Did we loose the coolant pipes
under the manifold?
What is the best quick fix?

How old is your Cayenne? I fear that if it's the coolant pipes there isn't a "quick" fix. However, you should be able to see something (or your mechanic) with a small extendable mirror at the back of the motor. If you see a lot of coolant on top of the motor (right next to the pipes), there is your probable source. Using the mirror you should be able to see if the pipe update was done (plastic replaced with aluminum). I believe this forum has an article on how to do the inspection yourself.
