All,
Im now getting used to the Cayenne and love it Its a 2004 S, has electric memory seats but the seat-belts and steering column are manually adjusted.

However, I cant set the electric memory seats

The manual says unlock, open door, ignition on, close door, adjust seats, briefly press set and then press the 1 (or 2 or3) button until an acknowledgement tone is heard.

I NEVER hear any acknowledgement tone.

Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

The previous owner said they had to get a new manual for the car so Im wondering if I have a 957 manual or something????

Hold the buttons together until the tone is heard (set + #). Don't just tap set ten tap a number it won't work.

Also note that it is key specific. So use key 1 with seat setting 1, and key 2 with seat setting 2. I set mine with door open, as it's a pain to see the buttons with the door closed.

Thanks guys, I'll have another go this weekend!

Im assuming the ignition needs to be on and seemingly door can be open or closed.
