Looks like a bad wreck to be damaged on all sides... but it looks like the occupants were still protected. God I love these cars.

"clean title"

Was it ever rebuilt, repaired or painted, any body filler?
No?
Great, check!

I'm unclear, do you pay $3,500 or do they pay you $3,500 to take it away? At the very least, I'd do a CarFax, and have a mechanic check it out -- make sure the coolant pipes are OK.

I think the clean title refers to no one spilled coffee on the pink slip.

Looks like 90% of the damage as done by the rescue crew to open the doors. That all looks like jaws of life damage, intentional rear glass breakage.

This is a perfect example of why title labels like "clean", "salvage", etc are a joke!

I've seen PERFECT cars end up with a salvage title due to theft and a slow recovery process. (Car stolen with the key, left in a private paring garage where it was not noticed for months, insurance paid out on it so it ends up "salvage")

If you had to choose between two cars, this one with a "clean title" that some hack rebuilt to look good? Or a actual "Perfect" car with a "salvage" title?

Right like there is 06 CTTS in Portland for $25k. Supposedly it got keyed to hell and all the windows smashed and thus got a repaint. Has a branded title but wasn't in an actual accident. I don't wanna touch it but its a screaming deal if otherwise mechanically sound.

I wonder if it was wrecked as a result of over-driving the performance abilities of the spare?

And he thought he was having a bad day when fixing the flat.
