Cayenne Exterior Color choices
Which color is better. Yes black is a favorite but too hard to maintain.
Classic Silver Metallic
Or Meteor Grey Metallic
In either, I plan to have Black Roof Rails and Black Window Trims.

Well, I ruled out gray right away as I was trading in a gray Touareg. Then I ruled out black because of the two Mercedes before that. So when enough previous choices were eliminated, it came down to the Dark Blue Metallic. Red was on the list, but the base Cayenne red hardly qualifies. I'd have liked yellow too, but that too isn't available in base cars.

A grey BMW was the previous car though.
Of the choices shown in this post I would choose a bare metal car and have a PTS done!

Color is a personal choice, so in the end whatever makes you happy. For myself, I wasn't fond of auburn metallic but do like the carmine red that is now available. Black for me doesn't work in Florida, but would probably be fine in a northern climate. I like the white, but ended up with the dark blue metallic since I've never owned a blue car. I like it since it is a true blue, not the bluish purple that a lot of the other manufacturers use. It really stands out in the sun. Not fond of the browns, dark green or greys.

I like black or white personally (and had the hardest time choosing between the two when ordering my Cayenne). Actually second to the hardest time choosing between a beige or black interior!
Black only looks nice when clean, white stays visually cleaner much longer. Black is always in, white is a recent trend ... but still a classic Porsche colour.
Not crazy about either of your colour choices, for me they are a draw.
Have you seen them in person? You will have much more of a cognitive impression, than looking at picture since it affects apparent size, presence of the vehicle, and how it reflects light. Also Photos are never colour accurate (Porsche is famous for "adjusting" the colours in their photos), and your computer screen even less accurate.

My family's been choosing grey for our last few cars because they don't quite look as dirty when there's stuff splattered all over it. Mud and slush shows up well on white, and road dust shows up well on black.. in our opinion anyway.
