Cayenne Exterior Color choices

Anything but black, white or silver. The trend, thankfully, seems to be returning to color after more than a decade of achromatic monotony leading sales. When I look around in traffic, the drabness and copy-cat plague is depressing.

We are going the Umber route.
Replacing a gray car, so that's out. We already have a Silver and are bored of it (the Silver car was CPO and not our first choice). Don't like Green. Live in the South so didn't really want black, although I like Jet Black. Wife does not like white (too plastic looking she says) and with the bugs down here I had on a white rental that went on a road trip, I agree, no white. Carmine red is flat red, we do not like flat red. Would have gone with Auburn had it been more maroon, less Orange.
That really left us between Umber and Dark Blue. I like blue, but I am spoiled by BMW's Imperial Blue which is much darker and richer looking (it's not the least bit purple, either, their Carbon Black is purple-blue-black). After Imperial, Porsche's Dark Blue looks a bit too drab and conservative. To me it lacks a little pop, although it is still a nice color.
While we are not super thrilled with Umber, it's got some neat characteristics to it. It'll also help out with heat gain deep in the heart of TX, as well as hiding dirt well.
Finally, it goes great with Umber / Tartufo interior, our choice.

You're going to like it. I've never looked back once I traded the R. Welcome.

I'm partial to Silver, as that is what I have, but I really like Porsche's Classic Silver Metallic. I've owned a BMW and Lexus in Silver, just wasn't as vibrant as Porsche. I also like the Grey (had a BMW is space grey), but prefer silver. When it comes to upgrading my V6 in a couple years, it'll either be White or Silver.

Wow, that Techart stuff is pretty hideous. I can think of way better cars to drop $200k on.
