Is changing the speedo face a major task?
Yesterday I looked at an ex-Cdn Turbo with its speedo dial in Km/hr. Not a huge deal, but still an inconvenience. Anyone know if the speedo face can be changed to US MPH without a whole new speedo or a huge installation cost?
I assume the digital readout can be set for either Km or miles.

The last time I checked with North Hollywood Speedo, an OEM speedometer face is not available for the Cayenne; albeit the availability of an entire Tequipment cluster in the color of your choice.

The Service Dept advised the salesman I'm working that it would cost $1500 for a speedo + $500 labor. Yikes.

Here is a site that sells just the faces http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-Caye...sories&vxp=mtr . To change from KMH to MPH on your digital readout is very easy, you do it yourself. Just follow the instructions in the User Manual. You can also try and find a used US Turbo cluster and swap them out, it's a job that takes about an hour max. The only thing with that is that it will display the mileage from the vehicle that it came from. You will also have to bring it to Porsche dealer or an independant with a PIWIS tester to code it to your vehicle, it takes about 1/2 hour max.
