2009 Cayenne Turbo S - Front license plate solutions?
Just wondering what people have been doing when needing to mount a front plate on a Turbo S in a situation where they bought the beast from a no-front-plate jurisdiction and brought into a front-plate-required jurisdiction.
Any pics/thoughts/advice would be appreciated. Drilling into the bumper or blocking the intercooler doesn't seem to be a very good choice...but neither are $105 no-front-plate tickets!
Here's a brutal intro photo of the front of the car for reference.

There is a factory bracket that looks like it snaps to the grille. I would have to look at it again to double check. It came with the car, but I haven't installed it. Front plates are required in California, but no tickets so far (knock on wood).
By the way, if those are dual Laser Interceptors up front, good thinking. I have them installed almost identically, just one space wider in the grille.

btw I went for four years in Oregon (which is a front plate state) and never got a ticket (my ML430).. however parking patrols in Portland were ****'s about it so I would ram shackle it to the front when i parked.

A) Ghetto
B) not a legal solution.
You can go for years sometimes without getter stopped. I hadn't been stopped for no front plate for 12 years then all of the sudden I got stopped once a week for three weeks in a row in three different cars for no front plate.
HATE front plates but HATE giving the cops a freebie reason to pull you over anytime they want even more! It would suck to have those two glasses of wine with dinner and then get stopped on the way home for no front plate and get a DUI when you don't really deserve one.
There is a factory front plate mount available. I thought of all the cool creative ways to do a hide-a-way plate but ended up just using the factory set up in the end. I don't need a cop taking a closer look at the front of my car because there was no plate one minute and a plate the next. Especially if you have laser jammers on there.
