Euro delivery
I am new at this and seek counsel from members who have done it. Is there a tax or cost advantage for the buyer to take delivery of their new Porsche in Germany. Thanks for replys Doug

Hey Doug,
No tax advantage, no price advantage.
The ED option is no cost though so you do get something for no cost -
Night in the hotel, taxi's to and from the factory (pick up & drop off of your Porsche)
A great lunch, tour of the factory, time on the track and the off road course (Leipzig delivery)
2 weeks insurance, a full tank of gas.
All valuable items.
The best value - the experience of picking up your Porsche and driving it in Europe!!
Search the recent ED threads - some excellent information on the process, the experience and some great recommendations of where to go and stay on your trip.
Just do it!

Some nasty threads in other forums, that since Porsche passes the $3000 cost to the dealer, there is either little to no negotiation from MSRP ... or if you already negotiated yourself a great deal ... dealer refuses ED.
Anybody here get their cake and eat it too? I.e. more than 3% off and ED?
Thinking about it for next year, but not if what is advertised as "free" essentially means I pay! Although I can kind of understand the so called "unfair" dealer stance ... why should they go into loses for my free perk.

Thanks RESP for your guidance, genuinely thinking about it. Steve, sorry things in The Great White North are not good for ED. thanks to you both for your input. Regards Doug

My dealer told me that also get additional car allocations for each Euro delivery. At MSRP they don't pass on the cost.
