These are the items wrong with my Turbo so far
I bring it to the dealer on Monday:
COMFORT missing on Setup menu (I cant program my locks etc)
Driver seat loose (when I accelerate or decelerate the seat shifts slightly)
Driver door misaligned (cosmetic issue but obvious misalignment of door -- obvious where silver parts come together
Park & Drive doesn't work consistently (but does it for anyone??)
Thats about it. Transmision and everything else are flawless so far with 1100 miles on it.

As I had stated in another thread, I wonder how much of these problems are related to "dealer prep?" It takes 4 hours to complete!
I'm pretty sure all Cayenne have same computer, but not always same options.

I have 1500 miles on mine and only one problem to date. It took me a long time to figure out the comfort settings and the entry and drive. You have to select the comfort settings you want and then you must use your key to lock the doors. The settings then work anytime you have that key with you. Switch keys and you are back to the factory default settings.
My problem is that the PCM does not come back on when I start the car. Of course the dealer said they were designed that way except I seem to have the only one with that "design". We looked in the Cayenne service manuals and they have not sent the PCM II manuals to the dealers. It must be a simple setting, but so far I cannot find it.
Good luck with your first repairs.

Our "entry & drive" doesn't seem to work consistenly either. For one thing, it seems to always reset back to the factory setting. I'll have to try Kevin's suggestion. Kevin, when you say "use your key to lock the doors" - do you mean to use the key in the door lock or to use the key fob's lock button?
No problems with loose seats, although Audi seats frequently had this problem (we had the problem on our A6 4.2 and, ultimately, had to have the entire seat replaced). Our driver door does seem to be out of alignment. It's not visually apparent, but it takes noticeably more effort to close it than the other three doors (when all other doors are closed - so it's not an issue of the seal).
One pet peeve I have is that the radio always comes on at a pre-determined setting rather than restoring the volume setting from when it was last on. This is especially annoying when our 1 year old son is sleeping in the back seat.

Dawktah, we bought off the lot and it didn't have seat memory (the one option I miss). They are, of course power seats. I asked about the possibility of retrofitting seat memory, but they couldn't give me a definitive answer.

With the entry and drive I tried everything until I figured out the secret. Make the changes to the setting and then just use the lock button on the key FOB after you shut the door. The Cayenne will even recognize different settings for your two keys.
For the PCM there must be a "real" setup screen you get to by pushing some combination of buttons. I had a BMW that worked that way and you could change a number of defaults like the volume when it was turned on. As far as I know Porsche has not sent the dealers any info on the PCM II system yet.

John, the "entry & drive" is essentially a keyless entry system. When your key fob is near the vehicle, you can open the doors without using the key (or the button on the fob). It's handy if you are loading up the vehicle (like getting your kid into a car seat) and don't want to have to fumble for the key.
