20" Carrera GT rubber for Cayenne
Michelin developed specially for Cayenne 20" tires, named Diamaris. They are rated for 180 mph.
Tom Chubb, vice president of marketing: "We've used the same tread compound strategy as our Michelin® Pilot® Sport 2 tires that will outfit the upcoming Carerra GT. The result is an unheard of performance capability for an SUV tire."

Michelin Diamaris is made also for BMW X5.

No one will probably read this because the message is so old, but here goes! This tire has been around since '02. I had them on an '02 X5 4.6. It came with 20" wheels and tires standard. I traded in the X5 and now have the same tires on my Cayenne TT. Great tire, rides well and quiet. I put about 26,000 miles on my first set on the X5.

I am quiet positive that a guy at Wheel Enhancement said they had not recieved final ok to put these on the Cayenne due to weight load issues. He told me that the only 20s he could offer were the Pirellis and Contis in the 20 inch size.
I would like the stock Porsch 20 inch rims, but it is backordered along with other crap I need. May go with Tech Art. Concern with Tech Art is weight. Any other 20 inch wheel suggestions that comes in a 19 X 9 would be appreciated.

I have Techart 20s with Michelin Diamaris 274-40-20 tires. My father also has a TT that came with the 20" Cayenne Sport wheels also with the Michelin Diamaris. It would appear that they are certified for the Cayenne's weight load.

My bad, it could have been the Bridgestones that were not rated for the weight but were the right size.
How much do the Techart 20s weigh. Notice any difference after you put them on.

ESKPORT:
I like the devitating carpet on the TT. I almost went with the same thing and same colors. I wanted something a little more obnoxious. I ended up going with Black interior with black carpet, full carbon fibre, sport seats with red backs, red seat belts, red deviating stiching on seats, doors, steering wheel, and dash, and red center console. I also got red dials, carbon wheel, carbon door pulls, sills and etc. May look strange as exterior is black. Should know soon enough.
The wheels on your 996 TT are sweet. I am just going with 19 inch speedlines.

Not for everybody, but here’s what I put on my TT.

20" Antera 323's, Michelin Diamaris
Love the ride! Still haven't got the tire pressure monitors working yet!

Doug,
Thanks. I like what you've ordered. Red deviating stiching looks great as do red belts. I love painted consoles and sport seat backs. Hey, if you don't like it, you can always paint them black and change the dials. If they build a TT Cab, I think I might order Basalt with Flaminco or CanCan Red special leather. I've always liked red interiors and IMO Boxster red is kind of rust color and drab.

SurfCayenne,
I didn't realize Antera was making wheels for the Cayenne. I have TPMS on my TT and I had to disable it because the sensors that are required for reading tire pressure were not installed on my Techarts. If the place where you bought the Anteras did not install them, then the TPMS will not work and you will get an error message. Go into the computer and change the setting for the TPMS to off. You will get a message from the computer each time you start the truck saying it is off, but it's no big deal. I haven't checked with my dealer to see if I can buy extra sensors for the new wheels. If you can, I'll post some more info.
