This is a friend's wife's car. Had roughly 100 miles on it. (I put approximately 10 miles of that on Thursday evening!) Very fun to drive. Great Porsche sound as well. He also owns a C2S and is in the process of selling it to John B (993 Rennlister). Overall the passenger cabin held up well. The front windshield was damaged by the airbag door. Gauges were damaged from airbag propellant. Engine "crumpled" up and rearward. The good news is that he was able to get another car on the way and should have it next week.

She was hit going through an intersection. Other car's speed was estimated at 50. They were trying to beat the light and paid the price. Everyone is just fine.

What options on that car?
Can I buy the tow bar, wheels, carpets, rear glass ...
just kidding
but that day is not too far off
Well, glad everyone walked away -- any landing you walk away from is a good landing
Of course, if someone else ran the light, how did this car have full-frontal damage? ...
I wonder if Mr Porsche would like to see this -- it must be one of the first "real world" Cayenne crumples.

Looks like the front end is skewed heavily towards the driver's side - consistent with an impact with a car travelling from right to left at high speed. She may have pulled out into an intersection without checking for cross traffic. I wouldn't speculate as to who ran what light.

She definitely did not run the light. Her two passengers attested to this as well. One strange thing, the passenger airbag door (on top of the dash) actually did the damage to the windshield. Other car hit her travelling right to left. Not sure about who will be parting the wreckage.

Did this occur in the U.K.? I am a little confused how someone could hit you from the right, you would have to cross the oncoming traffice from the left before you got into oncoming traffic from the right. Was this a one way? This person was coming way after the light turned red!
Was the person drunk, running from police? I would press charges!

By the location listed from the original poster it occurred somewhere in Mississippi. Visiting there at least once a year Yazoo City and Jackson mostly, I was just looking for more details
