how can you say sales are up if they just started selling them that month? up from what? (ok maybe one month before they stared to sellif im off at all... still this proves nothing.) i hope youre right and sales do continue to go up. we dont need a scare like we did in the early 90's.

Maybe I missed something, but no one has said "Cayenne sales are up", rather, the comments are in the nature of "sales are at a good level"....

My .02. When the ML 320 and the BMW X5 first came out, you had to wait 6 mos. or more to get one. They were all spoken for before they hit the showroom floor. A non-scientific check of our local SF Bay Area Porsche dealers finds many with Cayennes in stock. In fact, You can have a dozen to choose from and can negotiate a bit on the price. While I hope the Cayenne proves to be a success, I don't think they've been as well received as PAG had hoped for.
