Whooo, Hooo! Finally took delivery
Picked up Titanium Slate Gray Cayenne Turbo yesterday at about 5:00. Have been driving ever since. I cannot believe the size of the manuals that come with this thing. Stayed up reading last night.
Absolutely stunning truck! Picked up the wife, went to FedEx and picked up my Nav CD's. Set a course for Papadeux's in Arlington Heights and the Nav system took us right there!
Even in "Normal" mode the ride is still very smooth. I am still getting used to the size difference but Porsche has made it easy! I need to get more miles on it before Thursday when I will be leaving to go to Isle of Palms, S.C. So I get to test it out on the open road. I purchased a Valentine 1 so I am ready!
In the manual it shows 12v outlets on the side of the center console, have to go back out and look but they weren't were the picture showed. I already have an issue, the screw cover on the right side next to the taillight that is exposed when you open the rear hatch keeps coming off. I have to go back to the dealer Wednesday to get the Invinca-Shield installed. At that time I will pick up rubber mats, car care etc.
More, with pics to come. Will shoot for pic on Meigs Field!

Congrats, Dawktah. After your long and winding road to Cayenne TT ownership, it sounds like your perseverance has finally been rewarded. Enjoy!

Congratulations, dawktah, from the other side of the pond!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> Great to hear that your Pepper has finally arrived after this irritating episode. Hope there is some chance for a parking heater retrofit later this year. Have fun on your road trip to South Carolina!

P.S.: I just returned from a short Cayenne spotting trip to Porsche's Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen factory to overcome the long waiting time...

congrats, if your experience is anything like mine (and i have the s) you will find it was worth the wait. by the way, the 12v outlets are by the passengers feet, not on the tunnel (way under facing backward).

Glad to hear you're finally driving your 955TT! You'll definitely be needing the V1. I saw an S the other day in the same color combination and it was very sharp. Enjoy your trip to IOP. Drop me a line if you want to meet for lunch while you're in town.
Cheers.

Thanks!
After reading part of the manual, this really gets funny! The parking heater with timer I ordered wasn't exactly as exclusive as described. Turns out the feature I am initially looking for is the REST button. This works off residual heat in the engine. My dealer did such a great job describing options.
However the ability to turn the parking heater on by setting a clock in the computer to warm engine up is still desirable! Maybe next time!
I found the outlets, Geez, way under there, its a good ting the Valentine 1 has a very long cord.
I am really digging the right mirror dipping in reverse.
Anybody know how to change format for date on PCM? Haven't gotten to that manual yet.

Dawktah,
Great! it's good to hear that your "journey" is over and the fun can begin. You will love this baby!
PCM: I think you can find the date format setting when you press "SET" while standing on the "MAIN" menu.

Congratulations on your new "baby"! Here's hoping that you will enjoy your Pepper as much as I am mine.
Tough to wipe that smile off of your face, isn't it??
