Default Price check on a '05 CTT

Silver with black leather interior. 2 owners, all service records, comes with snow and summer wheels/tires.

Has had coolant pipes and coil packs replaced, stock cardan shafts.

60k miles, private party sale.

It doesn't have the tow package, which is something I really want, so I'd have to retrofit it...

He's asking $31,900 for it. Seems a bit high to me, what do you guys think?

Tow package iadds almost nothing to the value of the truck, but is gonna cost at least $1k to add one if it is not already installed. THere are plenty of Turbos out there that already have it, so unless you can get the truck for MUCH less, I'd keep looking.

paid 25k for mine. Its an 04 though 69k miles with tow package.

I'd say try to score it for 27-28k?

I paid less for a one owner with slightly fewer miles and tow package at a big time dealer so yes that seems pretty high. $27-28K maybe?

Mine like a month ago from a dealer. One owner. Flawless with coolant pipes done. But it's an 04 not 05.

Josh, 28K sounds about right to me. Already having the coolant pipes replaced is a plus but the tow hitch will likely cost you close to 2K if a Porsche dealer does the install.

Hmmm, maybe I'll offer him $26k for it and see if we can end up in the middle somewhere...

He did not appreciate my offer. We'll see what he thinks in another 4-6 weeks when he still owns the car. Meanwhile I'll continue to look and try to find one with the tow package on it already.

He didn't even try to meet you at a reasonable price? He must be too far upside down maybe?

Nope, he told me I should be looking at cars with a salvage title for that price. Guess I should send him links to the cars listed on autotrader and cars.com that have the same or less mileage as his with asking prices of $7-8k less that already have the tow package on them.

Looks like I'll have to travel for a CTT...
