That's too bad but isn't EBC a UK company? I would think if they offer it here then you surely should be able to get it there? Possibly the Turbo S was too small of a market in the UK? What about the E81 options since it is basically a Turbo S too, only a few trim pieces different.

Yes! EBC = English Braking Company, TBH if they want that sort of money for Turbo S discs looks like the main dealer will get my £1000

Can someone tell me how a 34mm disc can replace a 38mm disc?

Are you asking how you can start using the 350mm rotors and pads in place of your CTTS 380mm rotors and pads?

I can get the OEM front rotors for $1000, why would I pay $1500 for the racingbrakes.com rotors. They also claim a huge weight savings, I'd take that with a grain of salt. You can't save much weight in the two-piece OEM design without also taking out metal where it's needed, thinning a 38mm rotor to 34mm is ridiculous , (strength & heatsink) is what much of that cast iron is for.
Ok, they lost a little weight with the slotting but not 7.5lbs per rotor, and 911pervy is right, our rotors, they even admit it in their ad are 38mm, not 34mm. If you use those rotors you take the chance of over extending your caliper pistons. Stay far away from those.

My CTTS weighs the better part of 6000 POUNDS!

To me, anyway, putting a lighter brake disc on a 6000 lb. car is like a 300 lbs. woman wearing lightweight shoes.

I'd rather buy the regular weight versions and spend the money I save on booze and pretzels.

34mm instead of 38mm? are they f... crazy?

I'm considering upgrading my brakes all around to Brembo 405 / 8pot front and 380 / 6pot rear, will see if I get a good deal.

Default Update

Just wonder if anyone made any good option for rotor replacement or upgrade to BBK?
