Just to ensure I understand the fuse layout.
If I pull fuse 13, I am running on the right (passenger side) pump or secondary
If I pull fuse 14, I will be running on the Left (DS) fuel pump, or the primary pump.
Is that correct? TY

Re: driving on one fuel pump (secondary)
Hi there! Newbie here. Need some help. According to what I've read so far, the left fuel pump on my 04 Cayenne S has or is failing, as per the tests, I removed fuse 14 and engine did not stall. I'm going to replace the pump and filter, so I have to order the parts. My question is, can the truck be driven safely with only the right pump running?
**not saying anyone should, but...I drove on secondary only for just over a year, until it too failed. Test car, 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, testing time from 130,000 miles to 140,000**

The replacement pump will have a different style connection at the top. In the picture it is the yellow piece the sits on the top of the pump. I knocked mine off during the installation, and although the pump worked fine, there was a rattling sound when the fuel in the tank was below half. Popping the connection back on cured the rattle. Before you close the tank check you didn't knock your connection off. Also on the drivers side, the pump hoses can interfere with the fuel sensor, so zip tie them together if they are.

Fuses won’t help here. Did you pull the pumps out and verify the inside tank lines?
if the pump lines are correct. I don’t think there is much more to check.
did you replace the pump seals? Did you ensure they are secured correctly?

CONFUSED!!! On my 2006 Cayenne S the original pump had different connections. If I assume that the two black corrugated pipes are the In-tank Sucking Jet Pumps , They were originally connected to the top of the original fuel pump through a connector similar to the yellow connector on the new pump. In your diagram the sucking pumps are connected to one of the lines coming out of the respective fuel pump. If that's the case with the new replacement pump, where are the shortest fuel pump lines supposed to go

I suspect my 08 cayenne has Fuel Pump problem too. So there are two pumps under the seats, are right and left pump the same?
FCPeuro list Genuine Prosche 95562042100 filter for $130. Are the filters on right and left side the same too? Thanks.
