In the process of pricing out a new 2012 Cayenne. My budget allows me to configure either a lightly optioned CS V8 or a more heavily optioned V6. One of the options I'd like to add is the PSE (sport exhaust). But that costs close to 3K.

In my search of this forum and others as well as YouTube I've been able to appreciate the beautiful aria produced by the Sport Exhaust option for the V8 equipped Cayenne. However I've been unable to locate anything for the V6.

Could any of you that own the combination of the Cayenne 958 V6 with the Sport exhaust please provide a sound / video clip? I'd like to get my order placed but would like to hear this option first.

I am interested in installing the PSE to my V6. Is it a must to have sports mode activated for PSE to kick in?

Yes Rkeeper you have to put it in sport mode, however the V6 i have is petrol not diesel. But the power in the normal mode changed which means the car feels more powerful and responsive and in sport mode is completely different car, in terms of sound it is louder than the Cayenne Turbo.

I will try to share a sound clip whenever i can.

for me the PSE is a must option

Thanks mate. Look forwaring to the clip. Mine is a petrol v6 too.
Am considering a supersprint exhaust.. Sadly these are the only 2 approved systems in my country.
