Default Popping Sound from engine bay

So yesterday I was changing my cornering lights(the ones that shine left or right when you turn the wheel). Anyway the hood is open and I turn the car on and hear this intermittent pop like the car is farting. Just one pop like it's releasing air. Wait 20-30 seconds and it does it again. Not sure what to make of it. Ideas? Car is running fine. 62K miles

Is your Cayenne equipped with levelling control?

I'll make an attempt to revive this thread. I've hearing the same noises from under the hood. Sounds like it may be coming from under the valve cover but I'm not sure. I checked for misfires using my iCarSoft porII ODB scanner and it's looks fine. I do have air suspension with auto leveling.

The air suspension will make popping sounds and otherwise operate with the key out. I am not sure how long after they key is off it's still trying to level the suspension. It's an issue if you are using a jack.
