Hey Marc,

Regarding the interior lights, I believe the middle slider switch (between the 2 other light switches) in the roof console needs to be set over to the far right (toward the passenger side) for the interior lights to come on when the door is opened. The middle position keeps the lights off all the time and the left most position turns them on whenever you want them on. At least this is how it works in my 2008 Cayenne. I'm not sure if this is what your question is referencing or if it's the door switch itself as others have mentioned. Regardless, this would be the place to start...

Jay, Welcome to Rennlist! thanks for the input, It's the switch in the drivers door for sure. The lights operate fine when any other door is opened.

Default Door switch result?

Anyone know of the final result for what the part number is for the door switch? Mine just started acting up on my 2006 CTT.

Thanks!

Should be something like this. There are a few micro switches. One of them helps prime the fuel pump.

Apparently you can repair it.
My drivers door double locked itself not to long ago. So replacing the whole asm was in my best interest.

If you havent done the window regulator. Might be a good time to because the entire door needs to be taken apart. Buying the rivets are important as well.
