Question Has anyone seen this on your driver's door?
Actually this happens on the passenger door as well. Looks like some kind of tape is getting pushed out over time.

BTW this is Cayenne 958.

nope, not on either car.... sure it's a quick fix for dealer..

Looks like adhesive backed felt. Typically used to prevent squeaks and rattles.

Yes, it was an assembly problem on 03/04 which was fixed under warranty. The tape was mounted in the wrong position and creeps out due to vibration, happened twice with mine
