Do you have a FAT SHIFTER?
 

My August build 2012 Cayenne S came with a really fat, beautifully made shifter made of aluminum with leather inserts. This shifter is very different from the vertical post shifter seen on Porsche's web site and on the cars I've seen at my dealer. To this day, I have not seen this shifter on any other Cayenne. Do any of you have any insight into this? Thx a lot.

Did you custom order your Cayenne or buy one on the dealer's lot?

Yeah, that's the right one. It seems as though it was a 'mandatory option' with the walnut interior package. Pretty spendy but it is beautiful and feels, well, fat and meaty.
