Air Suspension Failure: Update: Still in shop

Thanks for those diagrams, Michael. PASM integrates the air suspension with dampening adjustment so there is the accelerometer feedback also.
Where did you get those diagrams? Please don't say the manual...

My indy had to pass as he did not have the current code reader. He thought the dealer up here with (the PIWIS or whatever) new code reader could figure this out. Hell, if the dealer can't figure this out , who can?? This piece of crap has been off the road for six weeks now. Can't wait till I get it back so something else can go wrong!

I posted the update in a different thread!
This is what the deal was back in Feb, 2012:
Air Suspension Failure Update:
A few months back I posted about my air suspension failure. It stopped working, local indie rebuilt the compressor, it worked for a while but then quit again. Took it to the local dealer, they replaced compressor, controller, battery, still didn't work right. They had no idea...they called Porsche... Turned out that an air tube that supplies the compressor with air via a filter up front had melted on the exhaust, effectively cutting off the air supply to the compressor. Once they replaced this and tested it for a few days, all was good again
The dealer did make good on some of the parts they replaced, since they didn't really need to be replaced. I thought that was pretty good of them.
Since then I have replaced the coolant pipes, starter, fuel pumps and filter, over head lights, new Kenwood Nav/Stereo/Bluetooth...hopefully I am done now and can just finally enjoy this P!G that I bought six months ago.
