Been on the lookout for a replacement for our '05 A6 for a couple years now and think I may have found the one. '06 CTT w/ almost 70k miles but is being sold at a local Porsche dealer w/ 2 yrs/50k warranty when it sells. I asked about the coolant pipes and he said the new aluminum ones were in there which was awesome. Asked about the cardan shaft and coils too but since they were closing he couldn't find out about those. Going back tomorrow.

Any other things I should look at? Thanks!

Sad part is it's gonna be mainly my wife's DD to haul the kiddo around (I DD an e46 M3). But at least I'll get to drive it every now and then. Gonna miss the gas mileage on the A6 and the keyless start/entry if this deal happens.

It will be mainly hauling wife's DDs? Pics or ban

Edit: Nevermind. I misread the post. Drinking & posting is never a good idea

Owning a Cayenne is.....well.....shall we just say, "an experience".
Mixed emotions will make you both love it and hate it at the same time.
Just look at what it's done to Lewis (itc).

Never owned a Cayenne...PCNA Legal can confirm that fact.
Now Larry on the other hand ....

Well, I was actually a little underwhelmed on the test drive. I was hoping it would be a little louder and that the exhaust would be a little growlier like the 911. I also did notice that the transmission had a hard time making up its mind sometimes when driven a little harder. Adaptive transmission I guess. However, SWMBO liked it. So in the end I got it for $38.5k and they threw in the previous owner's second set of wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tires as well as a full detail (it was badly swirled in direct sunlight) and a couple of other throw ins. I'm glad the 2 yr 50k CPO warranty is starting today at least. First mod is to transfer my laser jammer over.

Link to car in case the previous owner is here:

clicky

Turbos don't sound like NA cars ... not even the Carrera Turbos, which are often criticized for being too quiet for a 911 Turbo .... long story as to 'why' ...

I hope the dealer replaced the plastic T when the did the coolant pipes. Most won't since they're a PITA to access.

Perhaps, if we're lucky, the forum just found it's next Kooser

I have been saying the following for years - this forum is desperately in need of an OBEY THE WIFE smiley. Can we please get one?

Yeah, I asked about the coolant pipes and they told me they were replaced with the updated aluminum ones. They are to produce the paperwork for me this week so I can verify that (apparently they have records from the previous owner). I asked about the coils and cardan shaft and they weren't sure so I'll be waiting eagerly for the paperwork.

Kooser?!? I stumbled into some OG's here!

If you hate spending money on cars buy a Cayenne! That'swhy I have two, gives me something to bitch about.

To be honest the GTS has cost me nothing but service at 15k km. intervals and pretty cheap too.

No completely different.

For SearchTFF I recommend the following icons, pending approval from Madfox and mudman2 of course:
