Ordered a Cayenne S Black/Black with aero kit/red belts and gauges/red decals and black sport wheels.
Trying to make it as Gt3 RS as possible.
Question? Can I lower it easier due to the fact I did not order pasm or any other suspension options??

Nice build JB, Colorado & Billy. The waiting game is pain but its worth it. Billy i don't think you can lower the pepper without the suspension option

My vehicle arrived in Houston Port last week. How long is the wait at this point?

As I read these posts everyone here is very excited about their new Cayenne. I earlier posted that I was considering a new purchase and either I misunderstood the reply or was told that these were nothing but problems. I will ask the question here: I put about 18k miles per year on my vehicle, mostly highway. I'd like to keep the vehicle for 100k miles. What type of maintenance costs am I looking at once I go out of the 50k warranty. Does Porsche offer an extended warranty on a new purchase to go to 100k miles? Thanks.

In Canada, Porsche offers 2 year extended warranty 160K Km/6 Yrs..same as the warranty from the factory but extended in time and mileage.

I think a lot depends on where you are. Here in the UAE Porsche offers a one year extended warranty for around US$1800 which can be renewed annually until the vehicle is either 9 years old or has covered 200,000 km.

When I picked up my pepper in US, North East, no extended warranty was offered. After doing lotz of research and debate between X5 and Pepper, I went with pepper because of its reliability when compared to X5. It has 4 year 50,000 mile warranty. Thats my understanding. Lets see what others has to say. Better to have more opinions.

Hey porschefun, you should check into the extended warranty if you want it.
I believe it is a PCNA item from the sales force.

Our dealership is offering 6 years 160,000 km for $3600.
For me, the extra mileage will pay for this.

Got a flat tire on my new pepper. Called Porsche road side asst. Truck showed up in 20 mins and changed to the spare tire. Called dealer ship. Can't plug it ... porsche doesn't recommed it. Changed to new tire. There is $1500 tire protection when you buy new peeper, for 5 year. I guess its worth taking it.
Each tire will cost you around $350 including balancing
