I have an 06 CS and the air bag has a smooth top across the top and all the other ones I see have sort a scalloping across the top of the bag. Any ideas on the reason for the differences? Just curious. I can post a picture if you wish.

I think the smooth ones are covered with leather and the ones with the scalloping are not. I also think the cost of trying to cover the scallops in leather would take to many manhours during the build process.....Just my gess......

Now that makes some sense, my Cayenne has the leather on the door panels and the dash along with the crests in the headrests.
