Just to be correct (there MIGHT be legal documents sitting around), it was Racer's Tape (red) and MagLights (red), 4 D-cell battery sized.
IIRC, prosecution evidence exhibits D and E

And, for the record, the Cayenne (racer's tape and Maglights) did in fact make it to Lime Rock with the Cup car....had it not, I would have expected the trailer to be disconnected, the Cayenne moved a safe distance away, and a "random thermal event" engulf the Cayenne.

And everyone forgets about the rear window washer with bladder control problems! If I recall, that was one of the earliest TSB's/campaigns - even before the cowboy buckles and the desicant bags. Perhaps right after the rear window microswitch?
