Loud front noise
Hi,
I am getting a very loud front end noise (passenger side) whenever i accelerate over 25 mph. It sounds like a loud Bad CV joint ( Dug...Dug..Dug) or sounds like running on a deflated tire. I got also on the console display a message to not speed over 30 mph. Is it a bad cardan shaft ?

I got (cardan) shafted today driving home from a lax tourney with my boys. Nice thumping sound and a feeling that someone was banging on the center armrest with a hammer. About 70 miles from home. Then, magically, it all stopped, and the car rode fine. Then I would hit a bad stretch of road, and it was back. Then, fine again.
Made it home, pig going in to have shaft replaced tomorrow. 78k miles.
