Bill,

Resurrecting a VERY old thread. Just wondering if you ever tried these 20" GTS look-a-like wheels? If so, can you offer any feedback? Given the CRAP weather we've had - even in Dallas this year - I am thinking of having a spare set of 20" wheels I could use in winter weather. Just checking. Thanks for any info you might have!

Had those wheels on my '06 "S" for over 4 yrs., only "issue" I had was when a truck in the lane next to me kicked up a piece of 2x4 and it hit my wheel and took about a 4" chip off the edge of one of the spokes. Not a failure of the wheel at all. Put them side by side w/ the OE GTS wheels and you can see a big difference but for the price difference you should see a difference. The wheels took some very aggressive driving on mountain roads in AR and NC and never failed on me. I would buy them again.

I've said before they would be great for a winter wheel set because it's much easier to get between and behind the spokes for cleaning.

Toby, give serious consideration to the Alzor wheels ECSTuning has for the Cayenne, one in 19" and one set in 20".

The entire line of alloy wheels from Alzor are inspected and go through rigorous quality control and durability testing. Wheels come with a TÜV Rheinlan approval, and the wheels themselves are stamped with the familiar JWL and VIA stamps. The JWL and VIA certifications are performed by the Japanese Government to ensure the safety of aftermarket alloy wheels through extensive testing. Alzor wheels meet or exceed these standards to ensure quality and safety on the road.

Hi, did you ever buy these?
I am considering them too..but not sure if they were quality or not.
The seller seems to have rave reviews, but mot sure about the wheels themselves.

Is anyone able to vouch for WheelsBoutique and their advice related to 991.2 GTS wheel offsets at this point? Not trying to bag on them....but this is the third thread in a row where a representative from them says GT3's, Turbos, and the GTS cars all share the same offsets. It's not a "fun fact" that they are consistent, as it has been referred to in some of their posts. They do not share the same offsets, and they are all unique to those specific models.....more importantly it's a little scary at 10k a set that they are touting that as factual....

I am looking for a dealer I can trust, and WB looks like they have done a lot of cars, but the offsets are almost all that matters when you're trying to stay flush and not lower your car....Figured I would just throw it out there and maybe someone can confirm if they worked out the bugs related to that advice subject.....or if anyone suggests any other dealers that are really up to speed on this subject...Thanks!...GP
