Default error:::check dipped beam

once in every 500 miles the dipped beams dont light up and get this error-----once i restart the vehicle the error goes away and the lights start working-----what could it be------it only happens when i turn the switch to turn the interior lights on as well

mine does the same thing every now and then, also sometimes is says the emergency brake is on when we have never ever even used it.

i think it maybe the switch cause it happens only when i turn the switch-----it is stll under warranty so hopefully will get fixed

A search may help- a bunch of us had that happen back on earlier models with corroded or bad connections on the headlight socket- there was a recall for an improvement. Didn't think the newer cars still had that problem- maybe it's a new issue. Good luck! Larry may chime in as well...

I believe that MadFox is the official forum keeper of the STTF (and official forum bartender as well)
