There really isn't much bolstering on the Cayenne Sport Seats. I ordered mine with Sport Seats even though I hadn't had a chance to test them out first, and I was kind of disappointed with the results. They are OK, but I don't think they are worth the extra money. There's more bolstering on my Boxster S non-Sport Seats than on my Cayenne Sport Seats.

If you are used to Porsche sport seats on 911's, you will find these much less
of a true sport seat. There is some lateral support but it's not nearly what you'd expect from Porsche. My only guess is that they fell like Cayenne owners want
less support and more name. I have them on mine but can't tell that much difference between them and the regular seats. I think the GTS sport seats are different, not sure about that.

i sat in them too and was not happy with the extra side bolster - there wasn't any imo.

what i was hoping for appears to have surfaced in the GTS; but even at the Toronto car show they wouldn't let you sit in it?

That's because Porsche has no corporate autoshow cars, the local dealers display out of inventory, so they don't want their property that beat up.

Thanks for the responses on the seats, I may take a pass on them...

That's not entirely true.
There are corporate (prototype) show cars, the Cayenne Hybrid comes to mind, the Boxster 'prototype' was another example. They are shown at a few select events.
For 'standard' production cars used in the lower priority shows, they will 'lease' dealer inventory or dealer spec launch cars.

Then of course there are the executive prototypes, styling studies, etc that are kept locked up at Weissach/Zuffenhausen

You should see the Panamera Avant (station wagon) prototype....it's a riot, but the RS6 Avant is considered a competitive market.

the dealer said the opposite; because it was a PCNA they couldn't open the doors!

Wink

Sorry guys, in Canada the autoshow cars come out of dealer inventory.

Itc: they don't show concept cars in Saskatoon.

Cpa4s: They are pulling your leg. Check with someone you trust at the stealership.
