Like they say, there are only two kind of people in this world,
the Italians and the Italians want to be.....
I have a pretty good idea where you fall in (by just looking at your pose with your Tit.S ).......

I know this was a question about track time, probably DE specific but I have raced the CTT at club autocrosses and pissed more than a couple members off on occasion. For the record, an '04 CTT can usually hang with a mid 90's 911 (964) and most 993's all day.
Same driver, same course, same day the CTT is 4 seconds slower around a mid 50 second circuit as an '03 Boxster S with RoW suspension and 17" Azenis 615's. Did this on two separate occasions with 2 different layouts and was able to duplicate the 4 second differential.
BTW, I agree with Lewis on this topic, keep the Peppers in the lower run groups or in groups dedicated to them. Sir Issac's laws are non negotiable.

Personally, I think they need to be in Pepper specific events or not at all. Just because they can "hang" with the group comensurate with the drivers skill level, it still doesn't remove the simple fact that there are over 5500# SUV's with a higher center of gravity and prone to more roll-over incidents at the track which would put the operator as well as those around in more serious danger.
If you want to participate in "track" events you need to have the proper car. This isn't the Nurburgring where you can just pay your fee and jump on the track with your VW Bus.

I had my CTT on track for a BMW event. It was raining and I was getting annoyed with the rear engined P cars holding me up. The only car that I could not get around was a WRX. Everything rear driven, was moving a chicane! Regarding the weight difference concern mentioned earlier, try going out in a open cockpit closed wheel car (1670# w driver) vs. showroom stock mustangs!

Not buying that at all. Regardless of car, you should be in a run group based on your skill level not your "size" of car. And as for the "Pepper Only" run group, that is never gonna happen. As has been stated, there are already too many run groups out there and very rare to see a Pepper out at the track.
Maybe at the end of the day they should have a "Tow Vehicle" run group
