Yes, I drag it behind me in the car. Ouch, my rotator cuff hurts.

No, I'm sane and roll it to the street so I don't accidentally hit my car!

Default Larry's Trailer lighting finally works on '06!

I found one PAG approved trailer that is compatible with the correct number of LED lights for the incomparable PAG trailer hitch software. Larry is rolling over in his Cayenne grave.

Seriously, folks, this is one of the greatest functions of my hitch.. with college boys gone to school, I'm the designated trash bin to the curb person. It tips over nicely onto the hitch I roll/drag it up the short hill in front of the home on trash days as I leave for work.. voila' no torn rotator cuff. You say, a sports injury from a garbage can? YES! A good friend tore his when dragging the bin behind his open car door down his driveway.. no joke.. in fact, his Dr. guessed that was what he was doing because he is right handed and tore his left rotator cuff. Told him that left torn rotator cuffs for "righties" are bins that get away from a guy who tries to "right" it while he's going down the driveway and "ouch" what happened in the shoulder area?!

So --- how many of you drag/roll the bin behind your open driver's side door from the curb to the garage.

ENJOY the lights, LTC!!

#1. Can we add this to the T-shirt?
#2. Can't talk, I'm on my way to the dealer before they close to buy a Cayenne.

Thanks, I really needed a laugh, especially lately.

At some point, we really do need to do the t-shirt and then all meet in Atlanta and visit Peter!

And you thought they'd never get the software to light the "right" lights on an "approved" trailer piece of schi.... er.. I mean trailer bin!

Garbage can??? garbage can... come now.. this is a retro-fitted trash bin which doubles as a Porsche approved enclosed trailer.. however, the only 911's that will fit in this size trailer are radio controlled TechEquipment ones!

And the answer to your question is... I'm not sure, I can't seem to get the lenses to detach from the trim and thus get a look at what's under that red or yellow "dot"...

Geez... some people have their noses in the air about the smaller enclosed trailers us "small scale" 911 road racers use! SNOBS!

I think this one is going down in history with Bruce Corwin's Speed Yellow 968 snowplow.

If so, the credit is all LTC's.. I truly have been using the hitch for the trash for two years.. and it "hit" me that I could make Larry's day by saying it was an enclosed trailer but the lights worked! Larry's the inspiration for a lot of creativity... T-shirts, Christmas odes, legal wrangling.. what a great forum! Drink some Kool-aid and enjoy the camraderie!

Fascinating...

Imagine...with a little creativity what you could do. If you can hook a snow plow up to a 968, then why not attach hydraulics to the rear as well..aka three point hitch.....and you could attach a post hole auger, bush hog and a variety of other implements available from your local tractor supply dealer.....oh Lewis...can I add PTO......now the Cayenne would truely be versatile!!

I'm pretty sure if you tried a PTO with a Cayenne, the cardan shaft would not hold up, the coils would crack and the rear window would open.

MadFox.....does Porsche sell a device that will allow you to haul more than one 'trailer' at a time??......and how many could you chain together at once??

I like the concept...but I have 2 cans to take to the curb

I have a solution for that.. I'll post a picture tomorrow.. it is actually a Techequipment upgrade to the Porsche Certified Trailer.

My pleasure Ray et al! ..... but, making Larry smile is my passion on this forum! On a more serious note, I was actually able to double trailer... didn't get a picture.. but on the recycle day last week forgot to bring the 1/2 size PAG approved trailer down the driveway.. so, following day used a bungie cord with the U ends and put the handle through the handle on the outside of the featured trailer in this thread's main pic. I will definitely have to get a shot of that (it was dark already when I got home).. it was hysterical.. what would really be funny is driving down the street and getting reactions from passerby cars! Update photo soon!
