Ordering a Stablemate for my Cayenne-- a 987 S

Ordering a 987 S as a warm/clear weather stablemate for my '06 CS. See link below. Anyone else have a similar "one-two punch" (i.e. Cayenne and a 98X)--and how do you find it works for you?

I don't have a Boxster S, but do have the Cayenne and another for fair/warm weather use. It's great to have this option in life. However, I tend to drive the subaru to work and bad parking venues. It's great to just park it and forget it!

Rome.........the beauty of Porsche today is:

2005 Cayenne S (Triple Black)
1997 Speed Yellow 993 (Bilstein PSS9, AfterMkt AntiSway, GT3 Wheels)
1997 Speed Yellow Boxster (W/HdTop)............

Sometimes it's just tough to decide!.........

Life is indeed, 'good'................

I have my Cayenne S for the daily driver - the 997S for weekends and I use my wife's 986 when I don't want to ride my Motorcycle yet want that "open feeling".

Wife uses an A6 Quattro as the daily driver - uses her Boxster on weekends and after work.

I LOVE my combo of the CS and 997S cabriolet. Winter and rainy weather demand the CS and whenever the sun comes out, the 997 S comes out to play. I have heated seats in the 997S and that makes top-down driving very comfortable even at 50 or so degrees outside.

Currently I have a Cayenne and a 996CAB and love the combo. Allows us to drive something that matches our mood. Also, currently shopping for a GT3. That should give us a nice selection.

FYI.....the Cayenne loves towing the 996 to the track

I have a Dodge pickup for the dirty work and my wife and I share the Cayenne Turbo for daily driving to and from etc, also makes a good suport tow vehicle.. My wife does not need a car during the week. I take the 928 GTS for when I take long highway drives or weekend outings with the family. My 8-year-old son fits perfectly in the back and it has more driver and front passenger room than any other Porsche including the Cayenne. The 94 turbo is for weekend fun back road excursions or when I am feeling a bit insane. This I usually take out alone because on boost it just scares the Sh!t out of my wife and I can't open her up with my son in the car. I show this car a lot but is much more fun to drive. The 944S2 is for track and autocross although I have taken it out on sunny days with the top off, The sunroofs on those cars almost make it feel like a cab or targa, they are so large. Not a fast car but moves along nicely and with the suspension set up for track it handles amazingly well.

Therefore, I guess it is more of a one, two, three, four punch. One for every occasion I always say. :D

Well...I'm not exactly the same as you guys...but similar.

I've got the Cayenne S and an S2000 for good weather...which is all the time in Vegas. Except for June to August when the heat is unbearable but the other 9 months is perfect top down weather.

You got it!!

Dealer tells me I missed the Nov. and Dec. build slots, so it looks like a January build, with March or April delivery. Long wait, but it gives me something to look forward to for the Spring.

Just in time for autocross season. They do handle amazingly well and make for a great autocross car. You have to try it once.
