r front passenger windwo Came off track and stopped working on 2004 CS with 100K. Diagnosed as the window regulator. $120 part, $300 labor, + misc = $450

While it was in I tried to get them to fix the leaking windshield washer fluid under the drivers side headlight. A few people here have had this diagnosed as the hose with a crack in it. My independant shop and the dealer were not able to confirm this and niether was I. The dealer estimated the nozzle replacement for headlight at $305 parts and labor. Next time I take the headlight out I am going to look into crimping off that hose to see if that works . Not like you really need your headlights washed anyway.

Finally had my coolant pipes done, $850 total at dealer, 87K miles. Thought I had dodged the bullet for a while, no such luck

Never thought I would say this but that sounds reasonable! I guess its because I was under the impression that it was a 2K repair. Its all relative. Still sucks to pay for something that was poorly designed and should have lasted longer. Havent had to do mine yet at 102K.

I agree, my dealer always seems pretty reasonable, now ask me why they turned amp off when I only wanted the cdc off. Reasonable but mostly 2 trips

Hi,
My name is Larry.

I brought my Cayenne into the dealer, shortly after plugging in my trailer's 7 pin Pollack connector to the mating receptacle under the rear bumper cover.

Shortly after that, all the lights went out and when they finally came back on, my Cayenne was gone.

Speaking of NY metro area dealers. My cousin has an 04 S with 18k miles on it and just found out he needs coils. He is running naked which I told him was dangerous. He went to one dealership who I will not mention and they quoted him $525.00 to repair. They normally did not offer a PCA discount unless pushed but volunteered they would take an extra 10% off for being a PCA member or $475.00. I sent him to my mechanic and he quoted him Porsche book price which came to $369.00 complete. He is willing to do it for a little less.

Quite the difference from $525.00. i understand labor costs vary but the coils come to $18 ea and book time is 2.5 hours. So even at $125 an hour it should have come to $470 before the 10% discount.

Why in the world would you be interested in sordid details of rape performed by Porsche of Roslyn?

Took mine in for a glove box that wouldn't open. Turns out my pipes are leaking also at 88k. Deductible is $100 with the extended warranty.

I had my coolant pipes done under warranty at 49,500 miles on 14-March (base warranty expired on 15-March). I can say that I've got a great dealer.

04 CTT, 43k miles.

Noticed what sounded like a whine coming from the engine. Took it in and was told I need a new water pump (parts ordered).

Shifter on the steering wheel broke, it's loose, $1200 to replace the entire airbag assembly (ouch).

Thank god for CPO....

08 S, 21,000 miles. PCM 2.1. Modules on backorder nationally - was to be shipped overnight from Germany - not. Two weeks later Holberts found one in California; to be swapped out this week. Thankfully, under warranty; major inconvenience.

Yes, with the release of PCM3.x, PCM2.x production has ceased. It's now just spare/inventory searches...I would expect the price to go up accordingly as inventory levels go down.

I don't know if Becker will be offering repair/remanufactured units for sale, they always have in the past.
