Replaced coolant pipes. No failure - this was precautionary..

Parts about $600 (including the coolant)
Labor $1000
Peace of Mind - Priceless when we're going through Death Valley..

'06 Cayenne/S - 58,600 miles. The old pipes looked fine and no real sign of leaking.

05 CTT, coolant just dumped out all down the road and up the driveway.

I knew when I bought the car they would go eventually but it's just the worst possible timing for me.

.. you're doing exactly what I'd be doing .. getting it ALL taken care of before it expires. Have the coolant pipes and coils been replaced yet? Cardan shaft bearing? That would be the 'big ticket' items from the threads around here ...

All that could be cured for 5k and you could have picked a turbo for low 30s.

S's in mid 20's...........

43k is an awful lot for a 5 year old car, warranty or no warranty.

I paid 800 bucks to cover my tranny and engine via the credit union I financed through 5 years ago.

From what I can see of the service records none of that has been done yet. I'll be working on getting those done "somehow" before the warranty expires.

front pads, rear pads, rear discs, wear indicators, oil filter, interior filter, wiper blades, 16 liters (16,9 quarts) of mobil 5w-50 = $1000
will see what the labor will cost.
