Default Bought an 06 Cayenne S tonight! Woo hoo!!!

What an amazing car.

Mine is pretty basic:

Basalt Black Metalic
Black Leather
19" Cayenne Design wheels
Preferred Package Plus

Oh, and floor mats.

This is my second Porsche - traded in my 02 Boxster purchased in May 02 on this Cayenne S.

I'm so excited, I'm thinking about cancelling plane tix I have next weekend and driving 600 miles each way just ot spend some time in it.

I'm dreading the break in and the time it will take to .

Best regards,
SnP (The derivation of the name comes from Basalt Cayenne - Salt and Pepper - SnP!)

Ok so where are the obligatory pics? I realize this is your first post but pics are a necessity! Congratulations and enjoy! When your hands quit shaking from all the excitement the Cayenne brings let us see it!

Will have to wait til tomorrow. The car I bought came with 18" Cayenne S wheels. Salesman let me upgrade to the 19s for the factory charge. I'm getting them swapped out in the morning first thing.

I would go with 20" wheels myself. More options for wheel/tires. The 19" wheels are pretty cool looking but are difficult to keep clean. The 20" Sport Technos are much easier to clean. There are plenty of aftermarket wheels to choose from, but when you have 19" wheel/tire combo then it will be much more restrictive unless you want a new set of tires also. I see you live in Dallas, so no real need for 18" wheels unless you are going off road. May wish to reconsider.

No doubt. You guys at Park Place are always great. Can't thank you enough for going out of your way to get the truck setup just right.

Great SnP - I too just added a new 2006 to my collection. What a great toy for the new year. I'm using it as my work car.

I appreciate its relevance to the Cayenne faithful, but given the dark history of Kool-aid, shouldn't the official "drink" of the Cayenne forum actually be Dr. Pepper.....or maybe just straight Hemlock?

Welcome to the fold SnP - do post the obligatory photos when available.

How could this character POSSIBLY be associated with 'dark history':
