PSM (a/k/a Please Save Me)
Been driving around with this turned OFF. OMFG...what a difference. Truck feels like it breathes fire now.
I don't have any hesitation problem, but I heard it enhances performance with PSM off. What an understatment[!][!][!][!][!] [take that Lewis[!]]
Judging by the rpms in this mode and the torgue I imagine it will have a huge effect on fuel economy and eat tires quickly, but it sure is fun.

By the way, how do oyu join this board-- I am "registered", but I guess that doesn't make me a member...do I have to send a check somewhere or something?

Higher tire wear: no, not unless you are taking corners faster since you are enjoying the car. PSM DME/TCU remapping won't affect tire wear, as this is primarily a mechanical effect. Want lower tire wear?......take about 1500# off the Cayenne (yes boys and girls, there was built a Cayenne ClubSport prototype, RWD only, lightened up....)
